Not a good idea. Personal use of office
equipment may not be company policy. You should first check to make sure
your manager has permission. Try again.
There's a bigger concern here about
company policy, and you shouldn't offer any help until you know that your
manager is allowed to borrow the equipment. Try again.
Although this may seem
awkward, it is in fact the best way to go since you have to ensure that
your manager has been cleared to borrow the equipment.
